Dear Players,
Metro Adult Soccer would like to cordially invite you to join us,
for a soccer vacation unlike anything you have experienced in the
past.
Our Play & Stay™ Vacations are a "Fantasy Cup" experience,
where you battle local teams from around the World. Imagine taking
the pitch with Team USA and playing against England, Germany,
Mexico or Brazil. With Metro Adult Soccer Travel you can "Live the
Dream" of playing and winning an International Cup.
We founded Metro Adult
Soccer because we, like so many other adults, had no where to
play. I played in High School, but not since. A lot of my friends,
male and female, started following soccer because of MLS and the
WUSA. After falling in love with soccer they wanted to play on a
organized team. But being adults it's not always easy to find a
beginner / intermediate team or league to play with. It's even
harder if you don't have a full team to sign up with. So we formed
the
Metro Adult Soccer League
(MASL). We wanted a league that all adult players with or without
experience could "Get in the Game". Our league offers
adults a safe haven to learn the game. The league features a
soccer school, personalized uniforms, full-time professionally run
games with extra time, and much more!
After one of our matches, we
were sitting around watching a US International game. Someone said
jokingly "I wish we could do that". The thought stuck in my head.
So after a year of research, about a thousand dollars in
international phone calls, and a lot of sleepless nights talking
to people from London to Australia, Metro Adult Soccer Travel was
born.
With the formation of Metro
Adult Soccer Travel, we are now embarking on the next step in our
journey. We want to give adult soccer players the chance to play
internationally, without waiting for Bruce or April to call.
Unlike MASL, most of the players signing up for our Play & Stay™
Vacations have played the game before, and consider themselves
intermediate players or higher. But keep in mind, players of all
skill levels are welcome, and per the MASL Laws of the Game all
players will play equal time.
Our Play and Stay™ Vacation
packages include everything; Accommodations, Cup Games vs. local
adult teams, Coaches, Nighttime Events, Sightseeing, Personalized
Team USA Uniform (with an extra jersey to trade al la
International tradition), MASL Gear Bag, MASL Trip Escort and much
more!
